AMANTE was custom deigned by Seaton and built by Delta Marine in Seattle Washington USA and launched in 1993. In 1984 Delta Marine was approached by a client and asked to build a “yacht” quality ocean passagemaker based on the the powerful lines of Delta’s Alaska commercial seiner hull for a dream of a lifetime circumnavigation. Under power, and with family and friends along to share the adventure. Safety, reliability, range and comfort were the objectives of the design brief. Here we have an experienced Yachtsman on a mission and with a vision. Based on their successful commercial industry experience and the powerful lines of the Delta hull designed by noted Naval Architect Steve Seaton the quest was on! This first in this series of boats Delta launched was the incredibly successful and beautiful ZOPILOTE. Two years and 35,000 nautical miles later passaging under power was a reality and the “Expedition” class vessel was born. AMANTE is an excellent example of this design and the craftsmanship each and every Delta receives. AMANTE is ready for any cruising adventure. AMANTE is a small ship with “big boat” systems in a size easily managed by a couple, two couples or a small family.

** America’s Cup 2021 – This boat would make the perfect platform to enjoy the racing and atmosphere only the Cup can offer. Contact us about making this vessel your “base” for all of the events and activities leading up to and including the racing on the incredibly beautiful Hauraki Gulf. Once the Cup is won AMANTE can take you on the cruise of a lifetime across the Pacific and back home to the USA, Canada or Europe **
